Marketplace role

Mazdurr introduces customers to independent tradespeople. The contract for any work is directly between the customer and the trader. Mazdurr is not the supplier of the work and is not liable for it.

Bids and estimates

Bids are generated from each trader rate card and are estimates. The final price is agreed between the customer and the trader before work begins.

Payments and holds

For deposits and smaller jobs, funds are authorised (held) on your card via Stripe and only captured when work is completed or, for milestones, stage by stage. Held funds are released if a job is cancelled.

Tool hire deposits

RentaTool deposits are held and released on safe return. If an item is returned damaged, the deposit may be captured to cover it, as set out at booking.

Reviews

Reviews must be honest and based on a real job. We may remove content that is abusive, false, or unlawful.

Recommended subscription

Traders may subscribe to Recommended placement for a monthly fee, billed through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; placement ends at the end of the paid period.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
