Who we are

Mazdurr is a marketplace operated by WAJD Group. We connect people who need work done with verified tradespeople. For data protection law we are the data controller for the account and job information described below.

What we collect, and why

Account: your name, email and role (customer or tradesperson), to sign you in and run your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.

Jobs: the postcode, trade and description you post, so traders can bid. Legal basis: contract.

Tradesperson profile: your trade, coverage area, rate card and a mobile number, so customers can reach you directly. Legal basis: contract and your consent for direct contact.

Reviews: the rating and text you leave after a job. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a trustworthy marketplace.

Payments

Card details are entered directly into Stripe, our payment processor. Mazdurr never sees or stores your full card number. Stripe holds funds and keeps the transaction records it is legally required to keep.

Direct contact between you and a trader

When you choose to message a trader, we open WhatsApp using the mobile number the trader chose to share. That conversation is directly between you and the trader. Mazdurr is not a party to it and does not read it.

Who we share data with

A trader you engage sees the job details you posted. We use Stripe to process payments. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Job records are retained for 30 days after completion and then removed. You can delete your account and associated data at any time.

Deleting your account

In the app, open Account and privacy, then Delete my account and data. This permanently erases your account, profile, jobs and reviews. You can also email privacy@mazdurr.com to request deletion.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or erase your data, and object to or restrict processing. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.

Security and children

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Mazdurr is for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
